A Better Future is a Sustainable One for Everyone
Terraline is committed to improving our collective global community by decarbonizing a market that is under immense pressure to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
Sustainability
Climate Change is the Greatest Threat to Humanity We Have Ever Faced
Building the most advanced heavy truck ever is not just about the monetary benefits for our customers. We are committed, as a company, to doing our part to end global greenhouse gas emissions and fight climate change. A heavy truck with zero tailpipe emissions is a big step in the right direction.

Our Sustainability Goals
Reimagining the Truck Industry
We understand that the impact on the planet does not end with tailpipe emissions. Our goal is to build sustainable trucks that enable a sustainable planet. There are several objectives we’re working towards.
A Climate-Neutral Truck by 2040
Getting our trucks on the road in 2023 is only the beginning. Long-term, we’re aiming to have trucks on the road that leave our factory with a zero carbon footprint.
Becoming a Circular Business
We are exploring all the ways we can minimize the ecological and social costs of heavy truck manufacturing, including more than doubling the lifetime of a truck through the repair, refurbishment, and repurposing of our batteries.
Creating an Ethical Supply Chain
Building a sustainable future means more than eliminating greenhouse gasses; it means taking the steps necessary to improve the communities of everyone involved in the production of our trucks. We’re working with all of our partners and suppliers to ensure the highest ethical standards are upheld in our process.
How We’ll Achieve Sustainability
Cultivating a Prosperous Future
Building a truck for the next century of freight transportation means we have an obligation to consider the long-term impact of our work. We have an environmental obligation to not just have zero impact on the planet, but rather to have a positive impact on the environment. We have an ethical obligation to support the livelihood of the people involved in the creation of, operation of, and those people who engage with and work around our vehicles.

Our Values
Revolutionizing the Way the World Builds Heavy Trucks
Radical Optimism
We are fully invested in the idea that collectively we can create a thriving sustainable world where both the freight and transportation industries have a positive impact on communities, people, and our planet.
Always Centered
We have an incredible opportunity to reimagine what it means to build heavy vehicles. By centering the needs of our drivers, workers, and pedestrians together with the impact our vehicles have on the planet, we will create something radically new for the industry and our planet.
Deep Interest
Reimagining a centuries-old industry requires imagination and innovation that has not been seen for a generation. We are always learning and educating ourselves to build the best vehicles we can while having the most beneficial impact.
Dignity & Respect
We believe that everyone involved in every step of the process of reimagining and creating the vehicles that will have a lasting, positive impact on the planet and our industry are deserving of dignity and respect and we strive every day to do right by all of our employees, contractors, partners, suppliers, investors and and customers.
Zero Emissions Progress Already Made
In August of 2022 we performed over 300 tests on our first battery-electric, Class 8 test vehicle at Irwindale Speedway less than a year after founding Terraline.
